Reliable food, shelter, and quality healthcare — delivered with dignity

Gran Yo Soy is a humanitarian nonprofit dedicated to providing reliable healthy food, shelter, and quality healthcare — medicines and supplies — to under-resourced children, seniors, and animals across Venezuela. We work hand-in-hand with local communities, because lasting change is built from within.

This work matters far beyond each meal or treatment. Healthy, vaccinated animal populations reduce rabies and other zoonotic diseases. Proper care and shelter decrease environmental hazards and contribute to safer drinking water in rural areas. And when children and seniors can rely on essential medicines, whole communities grow stronger, healthier, and more resilient.

Animal Welfare & Community Health Program

We provide food, shelter, spaying, neutering, and vaccinations for animals left behind when families face hardship. This protects the broader community by reducing rabies and other zoonotic diseases, decreasing environmental hazards from decomposing animals, and contributing to safer drinking water in rural areas.

Children's Healthcare & Rural Pharmacy Program

We accept applications from families with children needing medical care and coordinate high-quality treatment plans. We also operate rural pharmacies stocked with essential medications including antibiotics, anti-diarrheals, Tylenol, Motrin, dental analgesics, asthma and diabetes medications, plus senior care supplies such as adult diapers, nutritional supplements, and other vital essentials for disenfranchised communities.

Executive Director

With over 15 years of experience in humanitarian aid and community development across Latin America, Armando leads Gran Yo Soy with a deep commitment to sustainable, community-driven solutions that restore dignity and build long-term resilience.

Ana Sandrea

Operations Director

Ana directs all on-the-ground programs in Venezuela. Her deep community knowledge and logistics expertise ensure food, veterinary services, and rural pharmacy operations reach those who need them most — efficiently and respectfully.

Elizabeth Franqui

Treasurer

Elizabeth provides rigorous financial oversight and is building the transparent reporting systems Gran Yo Soy will need for full 501(c)(3) compliance and donor trust.
